We had a great experience here! The restaurant serves delicious, home-style meals that really hit the spot. They even went above and beyond by making an off-menu item for my mother-in-law, and she said it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has a fun retro diner feel, which added to the overall charm. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked, which is always a plus. Service was friendly, fast, and very accommodating throughout our visit. The in-house BBQ sauce was amazing, and the sweet tea was freshly brewed and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
We went here about 6:30am on Sunday and the place already had a couple of tables seated and eating. Service was great. Our food came fast and was good and came as expected. Great down home type of atmosphere and electric old style decor. This is definitely a place I would frequent with it being such a relaxing comfortable environment. Our waitress checked in on us multiple times even with her managing a handful of tables already.
Best Mexican food I've had in years. Even their chips are different. The service was great the food was great the atmosphere it was great. I'm definitely going back there. Once again the best service I've had in a long time.
The waitress Mary was absolutely amazing! Even though she had recently been through some personal things, her smile was welcoming the coffee was hot and the food was amazing. As I am new to Cleburne, it was a very welcome sight.
This place was such a cool surprise to stop into w the family. Our server, Brandon, was incredible and went above and beyond to be sure we had a great experience. We had a couple of dishes we split, and Brandon brought them out already divided onto their own plates. Will definitely be back! The Cleburne burger was so great!
Great cozy local diner restaurant with historical ties to Cleburne dating back to 1920. Imagine eating at an establishment that’s 125 yrs old! Food is great. Prices are reasonable. Breakfast prices are very reasonable. They have a great Steak & Shrimp dinner plate. They also have pastries and pies. Step into the past and give the Chaf-in restaurant a try. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
Fantastic local food joint that's been here for about 100 years. Food is fresh and made to order, the wait staff is very attentive & the price(s) are more then reasonable! They even gave me a hobo soda (water) to go! Ha ha Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cleburne!!
This place is great. Everything is fresh, and the portions are huge. I usually can’t finish my plate. They have fried mushrooms as an appetizer that I love, and I don’t even like mushrooms. The seasonal fruit bowl is large and delicious. We’ve been three times in the past two weeks.
Fun decor, menu has great variety of items. I had the New York Strip with a baked potato, salad and cornbread andcapple pie. The steak was thin with a big, delicious flavor. The salad was great loved the homemade dressings. Great apple pie. Reasonable prices. Brandon was awesome! Wish I lived closer so I could go back and try one of everything on the menu.
Just had dinner with my family and we left 100% satisfied. Brandon was amazing, super helpful when he went over the menu with us, and was just extremely nice. The train is fun, loved the small details in the painting along side the tracks circling the inside of the building.
